Hacettepe University has professional mechanisms, the effectiveness of which has been proven in the field for many years, in order to transfer the knowledge, it has acquired through scientific and technological research projects to the relevant sectors. Hacettepe Technopolis Technology Transfer Center (HT-TTM) , which was established in 2008 as a sub-unit within Hacettepe Technology Development Area Manager Inc. became a separate legal entity with the status of a joint stock company in 2009.
Hacettepe Technopolis which was established in 2003, is among the first technopolis of Turkey with its pioneering identity.
Hacettepe Technopolis, is an organized research and business center where our entrepreneurs, who produce high value-added, advanced technology products and services based on R&D, transfer knowledge and technology with each other, and receive appropriate infrastructure, superstructure, and similar services in the highest quality. Hacettepe Technopolis, has an open area of approximately 1 million m2, a leasable R&D investment area of 75 thousand m2, 270+ companies in different sectors, 4000+ employees who are experts in their fields, 1290+ completed, 530+ ongoing projects, preliminary support for new initiatives. It stands out with its incubation and incubation center, prototyping workshop, and HT-TTM , which has accomplished many successful works.
The transfer of our university's academic and technical knowledge to the relevant sectors is provided through HT-TTM. HT-TTM which was established as a sub-unit within Hacettepe Technology Development Area Manager Inc. became a separate legal entity with the status of a joint stock company in 2009. HT-TTM provides services to our researchers such as developing university-industry and university-public cooperation projects, preparing projects for national and international fund programs, identifying inventions on research results and directing patent applications, and supporting entrepreneurship. HT-TTM has produced 100+ million TL worth of knowledge-technology transfer services through 1600+ contracted public-university-industry cooperation projects it has mediated since its establishment.
