The primary objective of the Office of External Relations at Hacettepe University is to enhance the university's visibility on both national and international platforms and to foster collaborations on a global scale in fields such as science, technology, education, culture, and the arts.
In line with this mission, the Office works in collaboration with local and global stakeholders to achieve national and international goals. Additionally, it manages the internationalization process together with other internal stakeholders, contributes to the development of a teamwork culture among all relevant university units, and ensures the necessary goal alignment, strategic unity, and coordination.
Established in 2012 and with its directive updated in 2018, the "General Coordination Office of External Relations" continues its activities under its renewed structure and name, "Office of External Relations," in accordance with the directive on Working Principles of the Office of External Relations, which was enacted by the Senate decision dated August 3, 2023.

Structure of the Office of External Relations
The Office of External Relations operates under a vice-rector appointed by the rector and consists of a coordinator and, if deemed necessary, up to two assistant coordinators.
